Candle holder Emile Tessier in Malicorne XXL 1960

Interesting candlestick by Emile Tessier from Malicorne, 1960. Heavy and substantial, formal XL with nice proportions, it could be converted into a lamp, the good old days, everything was planned. A chip on the back in the hollow of a handle and a tiny jump at the base, common occurrences between a rather soft clay and a fleshy, shiny glaze. Height 24cm, diameter 15cm, wingspan 15cm. Delightful presence. Rare. When you know, you know.
