Large vintage Danish pendant light - Space Age Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup Denmark - 1950-1960 ∅ 40 cm - H 24 cm Wonderful iconic pendant light from the 1950s. This is a completely original model. Yellow perforated metal shade, central diffuser in striated frosted white glass, edged with a red border at its lower end. Equipped with its original cord cover. High quality design. Very beautiful soft and diffused lighting. Excellent condition with some minimal signs of use. Note a very small chip of paint on the top of the shade, invisible once the lamp is suspended. Perfectly functional. Johannes Hammerborg is, with Jacobsen, Følsgaard, Henningsen, Panton, Poulsen, Thore… one of the greatest Danish designers.
