These dining room chairs were designed by one of the masters of modern architecture: robert mallet-stevens – yes, the one at villa cavrois. The 222 chair, designed in the early 1930s, is one of mallet-stevens' best-known pieces of furniture. His vision for furniture was that it should be “functional in terms of contemporary living, simple and suitable for mass production”. The chair is a masterpiece of simplicity, made of black metal, stackable. There is no attribution mark.
