Bramin dining table Danish

Beautiful 2x extendable dining table from the danish furniture factory bramin. The name refers to the place where the factory stood, braming in jutland, denmark. Bramin produced furniture in the higher and exclusive segment. They often produced solid wood furniture in pallisander, oak or teak. This table with its beautifully colored top and beautiful wide edge is in a very nice vintage condition, and marked on the bottom with the logo of the bramin factory. This table is attributed to top designer h.w. Klein who worked full-time for bramin. Originally from norway, klein, who has a background as a mathematician and linguist, discovered during his career in the navy that his passion lay in designing furniture. In 1949 he started a course at the frederikberg tekniske skole in denmark and then moved to that country in the early 50s. His teacher was designer finn juhl. Klein's work is characterized by clean lines, and a perfect balance, the material use is fantastic as well as the finish. His work has been produced by bramin and only a handful of other high end manufacturers, so it has always remained very exclusive. This table is in an original and neat vintage condition, the traces of use are minimal, noteworthy is a "swipe" that is somewhat visible on a part of the top at a certain viewing angle, we have tried to portray this well in the photos.
