Rectangular table in solid mahogany and plated 1930/1940

Rectangular table with mahogany top plated in slight recess. It is extendable at the ends by a backstage system allowing the insertion of two extensions. These are designed with stops, allowing both stable and fast positioning. The belt of this table is made of solid mahogany, as are the two blocks on which it rests. Each of these supports is itself finished by four cut feet. Note the paradoxical alliance of these massive foot blocks inspiring the robustness, and their discreetly curved lines bringing finesse to the whole. Trump important enough to be emphasized, this table is removable in 3 elements (the board and the two blocks of feet), and therefore easily transportable. We will appreciate the charm of this easily modulable table, which can accommodate 8 to 14 guests depending on whether or not one chooses to accessorize it with its extensions. Period: 1930 - 1940. Excellent condition after restoration in our workshop. Finish varnished after stripping the table.
