Superb vintage vase signed Verceram, emblematic of French modernist production from the mid-20th century. This rare piece stands out with its sculptural tripod shape, composed of three elongated and flared elements, creating a dynamic and decidedly avant-garde silhouette. The vase is coated in a deep iridescent blue-green glaze, with metallic reflections that change with the light, elegantly contrasting with a satin white interior. This spectacular glaze is typical of Verceram's craftsmanship and recalls the highly sought-after "lava" or "volcanic iridescence" finishes among collectors. A true work of art as much as a decorative vase, it fits into the great tradition of French ceramic design from the 1950s to 1960s, influenced by modernism and abstract sculpture. Founded in Vernon (Eure), the Verceram factory is one of the major references in post-war French artistic ceramics, known for its bold shapes and textured, iridescent glazes. Dimensions. • Height: 33 cm. • Width (at the top): 19 cm. • Depth (at the top): 17 cm. • Base width: 13 cm. • Base depth: 11 cm. In very good vintage condition. No chips, no cracks, no restoration. Brilliant glaze and perfectly preserved.
