Iridescent free-form sculptural ceramic vase

Ceramic vase with a free and sculptural form, decorated with a black painted decoration on a white background, under an iridescent glaze animated by changing reflections ranging from blue to green. This type of treatment gives the surface a luminous and moving appearance, characteristic of Italian decorative research of the post-war period. The attribution of this piece remains open: its aesthetic recalls both the production of the Verceram factory, active in the 1960s and 1970s, and that of Camillo Lusso (1919-1990, Turin), whose abstract forms and experimental finishes present a real stylistic proximity.
