Pair of model A5 wall lights, designed by Alain Richard (1926-2017), a French designer known for refined work that marked the 1950s and 1960s. A graduate of the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs, he collaborated with Disderot, a leading publisher of post-war French design. These wall lights consist of a brushed stainless steel and chrome-plated metal structure. The rectangular base supports an elegantly curved stem, topped with an openwork metal spotlight, combining functionality and refinement, signatures of Alain Richard's style.
