Discover this magnificent set of 3 rare engravings featuring the pomathorin, the psoralier and a snake ⭐ these plates, more than 180 years old, documents full of history, were published in paris in 1839 in a natural history encyclopedia. ⭐ hand-colored at the time with the greatest care, they combine the beauty of nature with scientific accuracy ⭐ these 3 lithographs, each measuring 18 X 28.5 cm, are enhanced by cream-colored paper and extremely detailed printing thanks to the steel engraving process. ⭐ these illustrations are superb zoological and botanical pieces ⭐ they are taken from a work by fe guerin-meneville and illustrated by du casse, a french draftsman and engraver. ⭐ the engravings are in good condition, note small defects inherent to time, binding and the nature of the paper, particularly in the left margin.
