Modernist executive desk with rosewood drawers, Italy circa 1970.

Splendid Italian executive desk from around 1970. Very representative of the end of the modernist movement, it proudly showcases its very minimalist design style in line with Pierre Paulin's model 250 desk. Beautiful tubular chrome metal base with offset fixing giving the impression of the top being suspended, made of rosewood veneer with a rounded blond mahogany frame. Two minimalist drawers under the top, one with a key and the other with a brushed steel button (replaced), complete the ensemble perfectly. Total width 200 cm, depth 90 cm, height 75 cm. Top measures 186x84 cm. Drawers are 40 cm wide and 15 cm high, full depth. Finally, the diameter of the legs is 6 cm with black rubber pads. In superb condition, there is a dent on the bottom of one leg and a small chip of veneer on the right drawer, neither of which affects the overall aesthetics (see last photos). A very beautiful design piece, this desk will bring incredible chic to your interior. Italian class!!!
