Rare set of 6 'S11' dining chairs by Alfred Hendrickx for Belform, 1950s

Lovely set of 6 'S11' dining chairs designed by Alfred Hendrickx for Belform. These chairs are from Alfred's early design period in the 1950s, where he was clearly inspired by Italian and Scandinavian designers. They feature a very light and elegant black lacquered wooden frame. The seats have been reupholstered with a soft off-white fabric. They remain in excellent condition with small traces of use. These chairs by Hendrickx are hard to find, especially as a set of 6. Not labeled but featured in the Belform catalog.
