Three-drawer chest, known as "à doucine, " with the top drawer hidden. From the Louis-Philippe period. Made of walnut and walnut veneer (or flamed mahogany), with a thick-edged black stone top (Belgian marble?). Flamed veneer front, flat pilaster-style sides, flat base, drawers without visible handles. In good usable condition.
