We are pleased to offer a vintage mid-century sofa/daybed, Ercol Windsor Studio model 355 in light wood, with very rare period floral upholstered cushions, part of a suite. There is also a highly collectible matching pair of Ercol Windsor 203 armchairs with the same floral upholstery, as well as a model 366 sideboard offered in other listings. This example is the best sofa of its kind available today, in remarkable condition, superior to the one displayed at the Victoria & Albert Museum. The frame is made from a blend of light beech and ash, finely crafted in the style of 17th-century Windsor chairs. The sofa can be used with or without the back cushions and converted into a daybed, offering great versatility. The condition is excellent with the wood cleaned, waxed, and polished, and the period upholstery shows a slight patina related to age and use, while the cushions appear perfect.
