Antique centrepiece Keller & Guérin Lunéville attributed – Renaissance decor 19th century

Superb antique centrepiece in polychrome faience, attributed to the Keller & Guérin factory in Lunéville, probably from the last quarter of the 19th century. A very beautiful piece with a dynamic shape, resting on four small feet, featuring two side handles in the form of fantastic relief masks. The decoration is particularly rich in the Renaissance/grotesque style: chimeras, fantastic animals, putti, scrolls, geometric friezes, and a large central medallion. Unfortunately, the piece is not signed, but an identical example is known with the KG monogram of Keller & Guérin. The decorative repertoire and the masks also correspond to the older productions of the factory. Very beautiful polychrome glaze in cobalt blue, yellow, green, and brown tones. An old piece that is very decorative, with a lovely presence, ideal as a centrepiece, low planter, or collector's item. Very good overall condition for its age. No chips or cracks. Presence of glaze crazing, small signs of use, and a few light stains or old irregularities, visible in the photos.
