Edouard-Marcel Sandoz (1881-1971) "The Secret" Porcelain from Paris, model produced from 1922 to 1930. A magnificent ceramic sculpture emblematic of the Art Deco style, representing two intertwined white budgerigars. Highly sought after by collectors. The blue ink stamp of the porcelain from Paris features the number 104, which corresponds either to the mould or the model: here with a brown and red polychromy on the eyes, beak, and feet. The base bears the monogram of Edouard Marcel Sandoz in relief, difficult to photograph (SEZ in a small circle). Dimensions 13 X 11 X 8 cm. Great finesse of execution. In perfect condition, as new. Always kept in a display case since at least 1960 (family provenance). Sculpture collection glazed porcelain.
