Antique Ceramic Vase Signed Musarra Vallauris

Superb vintage vase in glazed ceramic in turquoise and black tones. Stamped on the base: vallauris musarra with the artist's signature. This is either marius musarra, (1910-1911), of sicilian origin, who founded a workshop in vallauris with his wife marie in 1950 called mabyjo's. A multi-award-winning ceramist, he notably received the 'grand prix de la biennale internationale de céramique d'art de vallauris in 1972. Or his son gabriel (1940-2015) who also produced beautiful artistic pieces. An exceptional piece for collectors. H 18.5 cm.
