Stunning! Extraordinary set of 9 deep plates, hand-drawn one by one by Robert Picault himself upon his return from Sardinia to the Longchamp factory. Here, there is no "craftsmanship"; these mega and mundane productions, imported from low-cost countries where it is hot under the label of craftsmanship, as found in all large stores, on every site, and on this platform now at caviar prices. Here, look closely at the flow of the drawings by Picault's hand on each plate, with the same intention, the tiny differences in lines, spacing, and gesture. Marvel! 9 plates, this number is finite, there will be no more - this service is exceedingly rare, possibly a special order. Also available is a sublime large dish for sale here, a high-end soup tureen, and a set of dessert plates. At the price of imported "craftsmanship." Each plate has been photographed separately. In perfect condition, shiny, with no signs of use. One plate has slight crazing - see close-up. Diameter 20.5 cm. Depth 3.4 cm. Bargain! At Blanche du Bois.
