The plates are all in very good condition. No cracks, no misses, no shrapnel. They come from the earthenware factories of moulin-des-loups, in orchis, in the nord-pas-de-calais of france, a land of tradition for earthenware and porcelain. The patterns, which were stencild, are not always perfect, we can see beyond some irregularities, which is due to the fact that the decorations were made by hand by specialized workers. There may also be some emailing defects, and traces of use, but nothing very important. The visible marks on the outer edges of the plates are not shrapnel, or accidents, they are simply marks left by the claws that held the plates at the time of the emailing. These are hollow plates, from the "pantin" service, the motif is a beautiful frank blue, on a white background. The plates are all marked on the back of the brand of the earthenware stamp with black ink. They date from the first half of the 20th century.
