Antique oak storage unit from the Art Deco period, 1925, constructed like the structured architecture of Manhattan's high-rise buildings: it consists of a sideboard framed by two bookcases with glass columns at the top. Each column is equipped with three shelves on racks that are freely adjustable in height, and the sideboard has a fixed shelf. A white-veined red marble top covers the sideboard, while a mirrored credenza, topped with a sculpted basket, serves as a base. The whole rests on a base decorated with gadroons. The doors are symmetrically decorated with a vertical fruit frieze in the center and geometric lines emphasizing the height of the columns. The unit can be disassembled for easy transport. Assembly is done using Roman heads and screws for the central panel. Originally used as a bedroom wardrobe, it is now ideal for a kitchen, living room, office, boudoir, bathroom, or entryway. This versatile piece of furniture is a characterful piece that will personalize an interior that reflects the history and simple refinement of the 1920s. Dimensions (cm): L148xD38xH173.
