Large abstract painting on linen canvas DLG Joan Miro

Maison Lecan presents this large abstract painting created on raw linen canvas with visible weaving and frayed edges. Signed and dated in the bottom right corner "MARCUS FECIT ANNO MMXV" (2015), this work resembles a student or art school workshop piece, freely inspired by the artistic vocabulary of Joan Miró. The composition plays on the contrast of geometric shapes and blocks of colour against the natural texture of the linen. The canvas is mounted on a rigid wooden panel and presented in a fine black wooden frame, without glass, offering a raw and glare-free finish. With dimensions of 85 cm in length and 61 cm in height, the piece is equipped with its hanging system on the back and is in very good overall condition.
