Antique Dutch carved placard, circa 1860.

We are delighted to offer for sale this superb antique Dutch pantry or linen cupboard, entirely hand-carved, with drawers, dating from around 1860. This decorative piece is a very well-crafted work of art, beautifully presented, with sublime craftsmanship worthy of a museum. The piece has been carefully cleaned, waxed, and polished by hand. Some signs of patina due to age and use are present, as one would expect. One of the back panels is missing but can be replaced. There is a height difference of about 1 cm between the front and back, which can be adjusted upon request. The cupboard is divided into three easily transportable and assembleable parts, including the removable top cornice. For any questions, please feel free to ask before bidding.
