Superb pair of antique turquoise glazed stoneware vases, China, late 19th century. Their ample, almost architectural silhouette is highlighted by delicate rings applied to the shoulder, a characteristic detail that accentuates the nobility of their line. The glaze, a deep turquoise with mineral nuances in shades of jade and emerald, presents a very beautiful texture, animated by ancient crackles, slight firing irregularities, and a subtle patina that gives them their presence. The whole exudes a rare decorative strength: two pieces that are both understated, sculptural, and precious, ideal on a console, a pedestal, or in a collector's interior. A particularly elegant pair, with timeless charm. Condition. Beautiful old patina. Wear, rubbing, and small losses consistent with age. Dimensions. Vase 1: H 22 cm; max diameter 18 cm; opening 10.3 cm; base 10.5 cm. Vase 2: H 21.5 cm; max diameter 17 cm; opening 10 cm; base 10 cm. Total weight. Approximately 3 kg.
