Tripod Floor Lamp in Black Lacquered Metal and Brass. French Work. Around 19.

This floor lamp features a slender, tapered black lacquered metal shaft, resting on a tripod base with elongated, slightly flared legs — a graphic silhouette of great lightness. A brass ring highlights the junction of the shaft and the base. The black drum shade with a golden interior diffuses a warm, soft light. This black metal design accented with brass is characteristic of French lighting from the 1950s, in the spirit of the productions of Maison Lunel or Robert Mathieu, where the taut line of the tripod embodies the modernist elegance of the post-war era. Condition assessment: Good overall condition. Homogeneous black lacquer, soft patina brass; custom-made shade. Electricity checked by an electrician. A discreet and chic floor lamp, perfect in a corner of a living room or next to a reading chair.
