Large earthenware salad bowl with a blackberry design.

Rare and large square salad bowl in fine earthenware, iron clay, late 20th century. Superb detailed decoration of flowers, fruits, and mulberry foliage both inside and outside. One particularity is that the glaze of this salad bowl has a shine and brilliance comparable to porcelain, far superior to ordinary iron clay productions. The clay of this iron clay must be rich in kaolin. Stamped Maison J. Mabut; Jules Mabut selected first-choice pieces from the earthenware factories for his Parisian shop. I leave you to look at the photos that are part of the description. No chips. Careful shipping.
