Old window or shutter in carved wood from Rajasthan, with 4 opening leaves: 2 small in the upper part and 2 large in the lower part, which is rare. Floral motifs on the four lower vents (separated by a colonnade itself sculpted), and on the two upper vents. The two crosspieces, high and low, make the object suitable for use or as a decorative element. A basic fixing system at the rear was installed subsequently to allow its placement on the wall. The ironwork (nails, hinge, visible or buried lock elements) is old. The wood was carved by hand (no exact symmetry in the floral motifs on the two upper leaves). The shutter probably dates from the end of the 19th century or the beginning of the 20th. The shutters are made of several thicknesses of wood (at least two) while the uprights and crosspieces are made of solid wood. The wood is healthy and was treated before its commercialization (in the 1980s). Height = 98 cm. Width: high crossbar = 71.5. Low crossbar = 78.5. Window = 66. Thickness = approximately 4/5 cm. Weight = 13 kg.
