*Pair of antique double doors with transom and carved frame* Set of antique solid wood doors, sold with its original twisted frame, high transom, and all of its preserved antique ironwork. The doors, crafted on both sides, feature a rhythm of oblong moulded panels on the front and rectangular double-moulded panels on the inside. The stripped wood reveals a honey-blonde patina with grey undertones, marked by time, previous repairs, and the natural irregularities of the wood. The ironwork is complete: two forged iron ring knockers with their original rosettes, and a horizontal locking bar with diamond-pointed ends. The whole evokes certain ancient Mediterranean architectures: doors of Spanish convents, southern homes, or riads, with a rare architectural presence, suitable for reinstallation as doors or used as a sculptural decorative element. Ideal for: • entrance to a house or flat, • interior separation, • library or living room, • wabi-sabi or Mediterranean project, • country house or architect's home, • monumental headboard. The set includes: • the two doors, • the complete frame, • the transom, • the antique ironwork. Note: heavy piece, two people required for transport. Condition. Good antique condition. Wear, drying cracks, and irregularities consistent with age and use. The set is stable and complete. Dimensions. Total height (frame + transom): 228 cm. Total width (with frame): 126 cm. Width of one door: 55 cm. Price: €2, 200. To be collected on site.
