Swedish mid-century chest of drawers teak five drawers

This Swedish mid-century chest of drawers from the 1960s stands out for its clean lines, compact dimensions, and high-quality finish. The warm teak veneer continues carefully over the side panels and drawer fronts, giving the piece a balanced appearance from every angle. The original plastic handles with chrome-coloured finish give the chest a characteristic accent typical of Scandinavian design from this period. The chest has five spacious drawers constructed with dovetail joints, a detail that underlines the quality of the furniture. The top drawer has a lock and comes with the matching original key. The chest has been fully restored in our workshop. The wood has been carefully cleaned, locally repaired, and refinished with a high-quality furniture oil, bringing out the warm colour and natural grain of the teak. The middle drawer, despite the same restoration as the other drawers, has retained a slightly different colour tone. This is a property of the original material and is part of the character of the furniture. The original recessed plinth gives a subtle, floating appearance and enhances the sleek design of the chest. Thanks to its practical dimensions, this is a versatile piece of furniture that can be easily placed in a bedroom, living room, hallway, or home office. As with all our wooden furniture, this chest of drawers has been carefully restored in our own workshop.
