'Rimini Blu' series ceramic vase by Aldo Londi for Bitossi, Italy 1960's

This beautiful blue ceramic vase, from the iconic 'rimini blu' series, was designed by aldo londi for bitossi in italy in the 1960's. He was inspired by the colors of the sea. The decoration was engraved by hand with various recurring patterns stencilled on raw clay, under glossy blue crystalline glaze. This item is not marked or labelled. It is in a very good condition with minor signs of age and use. It makes a great composition with some other vases we have available.
