Pietro Arosio: The expression "Made in Italy" has become synonymous with unmatched quality, excellence in design, and constant technical innovation, and Pietro Arosio's work brilliantly combines these three qualities. Born in Lissone, Italy, and trained at the Institute of Applied Arts in Monza (the cradle of the famous Triennale of design), Arosio founded his independent studio in 1972, creating pieces for some of the largest Italian furniture and interior decoration manufacturers. His attention to detail is the result of thorough research and development carried out in collaboration with the design offices of manufacturing companies, although the final product always bears Arosio's unique signature. His work has been exhibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Museum of Modern Art in Munich.
