Penelope Chair by Charles Pollock

This "penelope" armchair chair, designed in 1982, was charles pollock's last major work. Its one-thread structure accompanies body movements with elasticity and flexibility. Structure and base in chromed metal, seat in black metal mesh, foam armrests. Very comfortable. Good condition. Some traces of wear without much importance on the top of the chrome around the seat (see photos). Width: 56.5 cm, depth: 59 cm, seat height: 45 cm, backrest height: 81 cm. Pollock profoundly revolutionized the approach to office furniture in the twentieth century. His works have been exhibited in the world's greatest museums, from the moma (metropolitan museum) in new york to the louvre museum in paris.
