Box napoleon iii, signed tahan. Superb old box in cherry wood. It is a good sized box. On the lid, 4 decorations in little silver metal. And in the center a brass cartridge that may have been silvered. On each corner of the box, a silver metal cherub. And a metal decoration on each side. On the front, the original key that works perfectly well. The inside of the lid is padded with blue silk. And the box is stretched with blue silk, like new. On the lock, inscription: tahan, boulevard des italiens. Tahan was the cabinetmaker of napoleon III. Very good condition, without major defects. Dimensions: 24 cm X 20.5 cm. Height: 8 cm.
