2 brutalist steel side tables with primitive scene motifs etched glass

Amazing and unique set of 2 brutalist steel sidetables with primitive safari scene motifs etched into thick green glass. Inspired by prehistoric cave paintings and ancient storytelling. Light, texture, and shadow reveal the carved primitive forms with the raw steel frame as intruiging contrast. A sculptural dialogue between archaeology and contemporary design. These pieces are unique and made in commissioned in the 1970s. We do not know the artist or country of manufacturing unfortunately. The sourcing however, we did in a high end designed villa in The Netherlands, The etching is of a high artistic and professional level and all animals are unique. The tops are to be placed on litle folded pieces of lead. They could be used as coffeetables, or bedside tabels or we could also see them in a shop, since we have 2 large dining tables with the same construction and etched motifs. Measurements: 60 X 60 X 46 cm.
