Canapé prototype "Anorak" – Michel Ducaroy, 1970s

Entirely made of foam, it adopts an oval, monobloc, and enveloping shape, emblematic of the designer's organic and experimental work in the 1970s. Its fluid design, without apparent structure, highlights the pursuit of total comfort and formal freedom characteristic of his work. The sofa is fully covered in a textured anorak-type fabric, in subtly shaded grey tones with hints of purple. This singular material accentuates its experimental character and unique identity.
