3-seater Togo sofa Shanghai in limited edition with armrests by Cristian Zuzunga for Ligne Roset, 2012

The Togo sofa from Shanghai, 2012, is a rare limited edition piece from Ligne Roset. This version, with armrests, is particularly hard to find. The cover was designed by the artist Cristian Zuzunga, who collaborated with Ligne Roset in 2008 to create the exclusive 'pixel' print for key furniture pieces marking Ligne Roset's 150th anniversary. Cristian Zuzunga, born in 1978 to a Catalan mother and a Peruvian father, is known for his multidisciplinary work in printing, typography, photography, sculpture, textiles, and furniture design. His creations are influenced by colour psychology, architecture, urban environments, nature, philosophy, and more. Michel Ducaroy designed the Togo in 1973 for Ligne Roset, and it remains popular today. The Togo was the first piece of furniture entirely made of foam, featuring an ergonomic design using polyether foam in five different densities. This iconic piece offers exceptional comfort for relaxation. The sofa is in very good vintage condition, with only slight wear consistent with age and use, and a blue stain on the right rear side.
