Salt and pepper shakers in glazed stoneware with dog – Handmade pottery

Salt and pepper shaker in glazed stoneware (most likely Puisaye stoneware), adorned with a small dog in high relief at the centre. A typical handcrafted piece from the pottery workshops of the 70s/80s. Grey-green speckled glaze, naive and expressive design. Handwritten signature visible under the base. In beautiful vintage condition, with some irregularities due to the artisanal nature. Length 12.5 cm, width 6.5 cm, diameter of the bowl 6.5 cm, height 7.5 cm, height of the small dog approximately 5 cm, height of the bowls 2.5 cm. An original, endearing, and authentic piece.
