Superb and important chandelier with a richly crafted bronze frame, adorned with scrolls and finely chiselled floral motifs, characteristic of the decorative taste of Art Nouveau. It is enhanced by eight glass tulips in warm shades of amber, orange, yellow, and green. The original tulips were replaced in 1990 with tulips made by the company Tief. The electrification has been redone. With its floral decoration and organic lines, this chandelier evokes the aesthetics of the École de Nancy, a major artistic movement of Art Nouveau that developed in Lorraine at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. A decorative piece of beautiful presence, combining the richness of bronze with the luminosity of coloured glass.
