Reading floor lamp model 1086 designed by Gino Sarfatti in 1961 and published by Arteluce, Italy. Tall metal structure resting on a tulip-shaped circular base. Lacquered aluminium reflector, adjustable thanks to a ball joint system that allows precise direction of the light. The reading floor lamp is turned on with a push button located on the side of the adjustable ball joint. The power cable measures 2.30m. The entire lamp is in its original condition. Condition report: The lamp is in excellent condition. No dents, paint in very good condition, with slight patina due to its age. A few very minor usage scratches that are hardly visible to the naked eye. In perfect working order. This model is distinguished by its minimalist lines and functional design, characteristics of Gino Sarfatti's work for Arteluce in the 1960s.
