Chest Afghanistan 19th century

Ancient Afghan chest made of wood, brought back by my father in the 1970s during trips to Afghanistan. He taught me the technique to restore and wax them to make them last over time and enhance their beauty. A door on the front allows access to the inside. The metal system enabled a large padlock to be used.
