Beautiful medium-sized wardrobe from the Louis Philippe era, made of solid walnut. 2 large opening doors in panelled walnut on original wrought iron hinges. 1 functional lock and key. Bronze lock entries with chiselled gilding, floral motifs in Regency style. Simple and straight removable pediment. Simple and straight base. Back and bottom in white wood. Interior fitted with solid wood, 2 large shelves (126x46 cm) made of 2 cm thick solid wood. 1/2 shelf at the very top. A small drawer suspended on the intermediate shelf. Shelves sanded and varnished, finished with natural top oil and water-repellent suitable for food contact. The wardrobe is healthy and robust, showing a natural patina and old varnish. Structure in very good condition, sound and durable. The front and sides show signs of time and use, but this wardrobe is very functional and can support weight.
