This Kofod-Larsen leather armchair, based on the design of the Elisabeth chair, is in excellent condition. The light wood frame beautifully complements the dark tobacco brown leather. The seat cushion shows a slight patina and offers very good seating comfort. The leather on the backrest displays minimal pressure marks and almost no signs of wear. The distinctive shape of the chair makes it a standout piece in any room. The Fröscher manufacturing company was founded in the 1920s by August Fröscher, primarily as a manufacturer of barber chairs, and has been part of the Rosenthal furniture group since the 2010s. Fröscher has collaborated with various renowned designers. Danish designer Ib Kofod-Larsen studied art and became known for his Penguin and Elisabeth chair designs.
