SARINO PAPALIA - BAGNARA 1898 / ROME 1958, OIL ON PAPER, DIMENSIONS WITH FRAME: 50 X 40 cm, DIMENSIONS OF THE PAINTING: 35 X 25 cm. Sarino Papalia participated in the 20th and 21st International Biennials of Venice in 1936 and 1938, as well as in numerous exhibitions in Milan, Florence, and Naples. In 1937, he was among the artists invited to the exhibition of Italian engravers in Paris. Following the success he received from the public, he increasingly dedicated himself to art, and with age, his production focused more and more on rural landscapes and still lifes. The works of Sarino Papalia are exhibited at the National Cabinet of Engraving in Rome, at the Gallery of Modern Art, at the Roman Museum, and at the Academy of San Luca. Other works are included in museum collections in Caracas, Quito, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, and at the Museum of Modern Art in Boston.
