1950s-60s Scandinavian stool with curved padded seat, newly covered in light grey fabric, on splayed tapered legs. Scandinavian stool from the 1950s-60s, set on four splayed, tapered legs fitted beneath a gently concave seat. The pared-back, slightly raised silhouette reflects the pursuit of lightness that post-war Nordic design extended even to the smallest pieces. The padded seat has been newly covered in a tightly woven light grey fabric, in dialogue with the warm tone of the wood. Good condition. It may show signs of age and use.
