A charming Danish Mid-Century Modern upholstered stool dating from the 1960s. The stool features a softly contoured upholstered seat supported by four elegant tapered and slightly splayed beech wood legs. Its restrained proportions, organic lines and functional simplicity are characteristic of Scandinavian Modern furniture produced during the mid-20th century. The piece has been carefully refurbished and professionally reupholstered in a textured fabric, while the warm-toned beech legs retain the natural character of the wood. Compact and highly versatile, the stool can be used as an occasional seat, footstool, vanity or dressing stool, or as a decorative accent alongside a lounge chair or sofa. Its modest scale makes it particularly suitable for both contemporary and vintage interiors. Made in Denmark, circa 1960s. Carefully refurbished and reupholstered. Very good vintage condition.
