Boalum table lamp by Livio Castiglioni and Gianfranco Frattini

This unique table lamp, designed by Livio Castiglioni and Gianfranco Frattini for the Artemide brand in the 1970s, quickly became an iconic piece in the history of Italian and global design. The Boalum lamp, which can be used as a table or floor lamp, is made of white plastic, with resin tips and synthetic materials. Due to its flexibility, it can be placed on the floor or on a table. Produced from 1970 to 1983 and then slightly modified in 1999, this piece comes from a recent production. The Boalum lamp is part of many design museum collections, such as the Museum of Modern Art in Philadelphia and the Italian Design Museum in Milan. In good vintage condition, with signs of wear consistent with age and use.
