A charming pair of small vintage bedside lamps dating from the 1950s or early 1960s, identifiable by their original-style construction, classic proportions and old wiring. The lamp bodies are made of high-quality white porcelain, beautifully decorated with illustrations of early automobiles (Opel 1898 and Oakland 1909), giving them a refined yet playful mid-century character. The contrast between the glossy porcelain, colourful vintage car motifs and the solid brass fittings makes these lamps truly eye-catching and full of period charm. Both lamps feature original brass hardware and B22 bayonet lamp holders, typical for the era. Electrical wiring has been fully replaced with new, safe wiring manufactured in the European Union. New gold-coloured cable, length approx. 180 cm. Fully functional and ready to use. Dimensions (each lamp): Height (base to top of socket): 17.5 cm. Base diameter: 7.5 cm. Light bulbs: Recommended for use with small B22 bayonet bulbs. The photos show decorative flame-shaped B22 bulbs; when fitted with small round B22 bulbs, the overall height will appear slightly lower.
