Pair of bedside lamps in porcelain and brass, 1950s-60s

A charming pair of vintage bedside lamps from the 1950s or early 1960s, identifiable by their original style construction, classic proportions, and old wiring. The lamp bodies are made of high-quality white porcelain, beautifully decorated with illustrations of vintage cars (Opel 1898 and Oakland 1909), giving them a refined yet playful mid-century character. The contrast between the glossy porcelain, the colourful vintage car patterns, and the solid brass fittings makes these lamps truly eye-catching and full of period charm. Both lamps feature original brass hardware and B22 bayonet lamp holders, typical of the era. The electrical wiring has been completely replaced with new safe wiring made in the European Union. New gold-coloured cable, approximately 180 cm long. Fully functional and ready to use. Dimensions (each lamp): Height (from base to top of the fitting): 17.5 cm. Base diameter: 7.5 cm. Bulbs: Recommended for use with small B22 bayonet bulbs. The photos show decorative B22 flame-shaped bulbs; when fitted with small round B22 bulbs, the total height will appear slightly lower.
