Floral plate C. A. C. Labrut&Cie - Grigny

Elegant cake dish or rectangular serving platter in ivory ceramic/earthenware from the French manufacturer C.A.C. Labrut & Cie in Grigny. Country-style decoration featuring polychrome flower bouquets, with a large central bouquet and small floral sprigs, highlighted by a delicate golden rim. Its elongated shape and integrated geometric handles give it a beautiful presence on a table or in a display cabinet. Stamped on the reverse "C.A.C. Labrut & Cie - 43 - Grigny" and also bearing the red number "22". A vintage piece from the mid-20th century, likely from the 1940s. Dimensions: length 31.5 cm excluding handles; 35.5 cm including handles; outer width 13.5 cm; inner width approx. 11.5 cm. Condition: good vintage condition with patina. Generalised crazing of the glaze due to age, slight wear to the golden rim, small signs of time and a minor superficial defect visible on the reverse.
