An Art Deco dining table, likely from Italy around the 1930s. It features a rectangular top with softly rounded edges, supported by a distinctive pedestal base with curved U-shaped supports and a stepped plinth. The warm, figured burr walnut and walnut veneered wood grain displays attractive natural variation and a rich patina, enhancing its architectural form and period appeal. The base is accented with rounded feet, providing both stability and visual balance. The table is very heavy, solid and well-made, showing light surface wear and marks consistent with age and use. It would be a striking statement piece for all spaces. Presented of moth holes, mainly on base (seen on photos), preferred to be treated for better use. Measurement: Length 161 cm X width 90cm X height 78.5cm. Made in Milan, Italy. Period: 1930s.
