Oil painting on embedded canvas. The work has been re-canvased (original frame), some traces of restorations remain (everything is visible on photos, contractual). Signed work, partially faded. There is an attribution on the back to karl daubigny as well as a piece of label probably referring to the schneider collection (eugène schneider, patron of the creusot ironworks, collector and patron in his time - cf. "businessmen and the arts in france in the nineteenth century" by albert boime, link https: //www.persee.fr/doc/arss_0335-5322_1979_num_28_1_2640). Sold with its frame of very beautiful workmanship, some millimeter alterations and fragilities). Chassis dimension: 32.5 / 40.5 cm, with frame: 44 / 53 cm.
