"Gaudì" Chocolate armchair designed by Magistretti for Artemide, Italy, 1970. Unique piece available at the Marseille showroom. Worldwide delivery possible with a personalised quote. Human support before purchase. Iconic Gaudì armchair designed by Vico Magistretti in 1970 and produced by Artemide in Italy from 1971. Made from polyester resin reinforced with fibreglass, it stands out for its sculptural and organic lines, slightly inclined backrest, and armrests perfectly integrated into the structure. Presented in a superb deep chocolate hue with a glossy finish, it reveals a play of fluid curves and generous volumes, characteristic of Magistretti's explorations of plastics in the 1970s. Entirely moulded from a single piece, the armchair combines technical innovation, comfort, and sculptural aesthetics. An emblematic creation of Italian design, with an example included in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. DIMENSIONS: 60x60cm X H: 75cm.
