Pair of armchairs by františek jirák for the czech publisher tatra. Made in the 1960s, this elegant design characteristic of czech design of the mid-20th century, bears the marks of the simplicity of the midcentury modern. A low seat on angular legs is framed by the fluid lines of the curved wooden armrests. These armchairs have been completely refilled and covered with a fabric from the spanish house guell lamadrid. The restored and waxed wooden structure bears only very slight traces of normal wear and tear due to time. Size. Width 60cm. Height 80cm. Depth 70cm.
